2024 Bobcat® Heavy-Duty (HD) Brush Cutter Standard Flow, 74"
Features may include:
- Direct-drive, high-efficiency AP4 motor
- Tough deck design
- Toolless blade direction changes
- Three deck sizes
- High blade-tip speeds
- The direct-drive AP4 motor maximizes hydraulic horsepower for efficient cutting of dense brush and trees as large as 10 inches in diameter. The high-efficiency motor also keeps the operating temperature of your loader cooler and supports higher blade tip speeds than many competitors.
- The brush cutter’s reversible cutting direction is a game changer for operators who demand high performance and versatility. Operators can change the blade direction by swapping the hydraulic lines at the valve block.
- The brush cutter’s unique star-shaped stump jumper is designed for efficient cutting of heavy brush, trees and stumps as large as 10” in diameter and other material, while minimizing the need to readjust or slow the attachment’s operation in dense vegetation.
- The brush cutter is available in 62-inch, 74-inch and 86-inch cutting widths. The lineup offers five motor options which align with our standard- and high-flow carriers.
- The heavy-duty deck, made of high-strength, reinforced steel, glides smoothly while following the contour of the ground, cutting down thick brush and trees without the operator having to stop and readjust the attachment. The deck’s flow design directs discharged debris downward and away from the carrier.
- The brush cutter produces higher blade tip speeds than many competitors. The high cutting speeds, combined with heavy-duty blades and the unique stump jumper design work together to maximize inertia and make quick work of heavy brush and trees.
- With a quick and easy adjustment to reverse blade direction, operators can significantly extend the life of the brush cutter’s double-edged cutting blades and increase their uptime.
- The hydraulic valve block’s unique design protects the motor from cavitation and minimizes pressure during startup and shutdown. The valve block is secured in a steel housing to protect hydraulic connection points during operation for high performance, leading durability and increased operator uptime.
- The brush cutter features a hydraulic shut-off valve that stops the blades’ rotation soon after the operator disengages hydraulic flow to the attachment, reducing the time between blade rotation changes and other stops and starts.
- The standard skid shoes are replaceable for increased uptime and convenience.
